invitations
The number-one purpose of Moonbeam.town is to foster community. As such, while the initial rollout is primarily for the admin's friends and comrades, I'm certainly open to welcoming people I haven't yet met personally.
If there's someone you think would be a good addition to the community here, have them read the Welcome and Laws pages. If they're interested in joining, let me know, and get me the following information:
- Their desired username, which should be distinct from and not refer to their government alias (legal name)
- Their email address
- Their agreement to follow the Rules of the service
Once I have that, I can generate an account and password for them and send it along.
Ultimately I'd like to automate this process somewhat, so that existing members can send out invites, but YUNoHost doesn't seem to have a module for that at this time, so for now that feature is just on the road map.
